Tromsø · Arctic Norway · King Crab & Fjord Cruise
King crab on the table. Mountains beyond the deck. A catamaran journey from Tromsø with a generous meal and time to try your luck at fishing.
A taste of Arctic Norway
The boat leaves Tromsø behind. You find a place on deck, watch the mountains draw closer and settle into the day.
King crab is at the centre of the meal. Alongside it, we serve warm fish soup, bread and butter. There is time for conversation, a cup of coffee and a fishing line in the water. Your hosts take care of the day.
Enjoy approximately four king crab legs per person, served alongside fish soup, bread and butter. A meal to sit down for and share.
Step outside for the coastal views, then settle indoors for your meal. The catamaran gives you space to enjoy both.
Try your luck at fishing if you feel like joining in. If we catch fish, we use our own catch in the soup.
Your 3–4 hour journey
We depart at 10:00 and return at approximately 13:00–14:00. The route and timing are shaped by the weather and conditions at sea.
Meet your hosts and settle into the catamaran. Your booking confirmation provides the meeting point and arrival instructions.
Spend time on deck, take photographs or watch the landscape from indoors. There is room to enjoy the journey at your own pace.
Put a line in the water and see what the fjord brings. Fishing is optional. If we catch fish, we prepare the soup with our own catch.
Enjoy king crab and fish soup, with bread, butter, coffee and tea. We return to Tromsø after three to four hours on the water.
The meal on board
Sweet crab meat, a warm bowl of fish soup and bread with butter. We keep the serving straightforward, so the food and the setting can speak for themselves.
Approximately four king crab legs are served per person. Coffee, tea and snacks are included, and your hosts look after the meal on board.
Northern Norwegian hospitality
A meal tastes different when you have time to enjoy it. Look up from the table and the Arctic coast is still there, just beyond the windows.
For us, luxury begins with being well looked after. A comfortable boat, hosts who are present and enough time to spend with the people you came with. Simple things, given the attention they deserve.
Your catamaran experience
Move between the deck and the indoor seating as the day unfolds. Take in the sea air, find a comfortable place for your meal and let your hosts take care of the practical details.
